Continuous Evaluation is the DoD’s new process for on-going maintenance of a security clearance. The purpose of this is to reduce the cost to the Government of conducting periodic reinvestigations. It will also serve as a way for the Government to monitor criminal and credit related concerns in real time verse every 5-10 years.
